Author Guidelines

All submissions are to be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material enclosed to the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. 

An editor is authorized to reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be descriptive, direct and the abstract is to be simple, specific and stand-alone. It increases the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're informed that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Due to the indexing of the Journal by international search systems the editorial board formalize the requirements for publications with a view to improving the quality of the scientific material and the accession to international scientific databases.

The editorial office carries out a two-way blind (anonymity of the reviewer and the author) scientific review (the section "Peer-review process") and obligatory undergo the plagiarism procedure (the section "Plagiarism policy").

Manuscripts for the Scientific and practical journal "Economics and technical engineering" can be submitted only via online system at: https://ete.org.ua/index.php/journal/submission?sectionId=1.

If the article is accepted for publication, the author must sign a copyright release and a conflict of interest statement. Documents are sent to the e-mail address (scanned copy) of the editorial office of the journal.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Articles are published in Ukrainian and English. Submit the file with the article in Microsoft Word format (extension *.doc, *.docx).

The metadata sequence is as follows:

  • Name and surname of authors in English (according to passport data or other identity documents);
  • Scientific title, academic degree,  e-mail, ORCID ID of the authors of the article;
  • The name of the institution or organization where the authors work in English;
  • Title of the article in English;
  • Abstract of the article in English;
  • Keywords (5-10 words or phrases that reveal the content of the article) in English;
  • JEL Classіfіcаtіon;
  • Names and surnames of the authors in the language in which the article is written (according to passport data or other identity documents);
  • Scientific title, academic degree, e-mail, ORCID ID of the authors of the article;
  • Name of the institution and organization where the authors work, city (in the language of the article);
  • Title of the article (in the original language);
  • Abstract in the language of the article;
  • Keywords (5-10 words or phrases that reveal the content of the article) in the language of the article;
  • General statement of the problem and its connection with the main scientific and practical tasks (Introduction);
  • Materials and Methods;
  • Presentation of the main material of the study with a full argumentation of the obtained scientific results (Results);
  • Conclusions of this study and prospects for further research in this direction (Conclusions);
  • Disclosure of potential conflicts of interest (Conflicts of interest);
  • Disclosure of information about funding sources (Funding);
  • Information about the contribution of each participant (Authors contribution);
  • The list of used sources called "References" is formatted according to the standard APA;
